Can you relate to these typical problems that we hear in large organisations?

“One of my key people is a great talent. They really know their stuff and have achieved some great results. On the other hand they just don’t seem to fit in with the rest of the business and now a few customers are also offside.”

We can help you (and your star performer) to identify the core problem. We can then decide whether we are the right business to assist their decision to change. We provide one-on-one coaching on specific people skills – with clear goals and indicators of success.

“This job is so busy and I never have enough time. I wish I was more organised. I just don’t know where my day goes….”

We can help you to make smarter decisions about your use of time. We query your habits to diagnose the key issues. Is it prioritisation? Interruptions? Meetings? Support? This involves one-on-one coaching on your work practices. This exercise may also include your assistant, if you have one.

“There are some difficult people in this place and I’m just not connecting with them. If I can’t work better with them I don’t think I can succeed here.”

We work with you to identify the characteristics of the “difficult people”. They’re not difficult, they’re just different, and we devise some tactics to appeal to them and improve the relationship. This takes the form of one-on-one coaching in a short term engagement. It is highly reliant on honest, open feedback.

“Hooray, I’ve been promoted! But I’m starting to realise I need more than technical skills in my new role. I’m not sure how to lead my new team.”

We understand the challenges of transitioning from a technical role to a management role. We assist you to assess your leadership skills and learn (and apply!) new skills. We recommend one-on-one coaching using a range of tools and techniques. The emphasis is on doing things – differently.

What does “Etiam” stand for?

1. Latin: (ask a question) actually? really?
2. Latin: (answering a question) yes, certainly.
